Gannett Fleming is looking for an experienced construction management professional for the role of Construction Claims Analyst (Cost).

Responsibilities:

Assist management in the development and communication of enhanced KPIs to support monthly reporting on the status of claims to senior management
Establish and maintain professional business relations with client
Provide reviews, analysis and evaluations of construction cost and claims
Monitor project costs and identify any variances or trends that could lead to claims
Develop and maintain the listing of individuals accountable to support claims reporting for each of the delivery teams
Review cost metrics for processing of cost change proposals, pay requests, schedule reviews and contractor claims
Analyze the available data to identify and report on claim types, trends and classifications (active, resolved and associated costs)
Coordinate the roll-out of the enhanced reporting database and work with accountable representatives to oversee the collection of information related to the status of project claims

Qualifications Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction, Business, Finance, or related field
Minimum 10 years of experience managing and/or administering discipline contracts in heavy civil / industrial construction
Demonstrated experience in cost analysis/control, claim analysis and resolution
Additional experience in one more of the following desired: construction management, cost estimating, value engineering, risk management, constructability reviews and/or contract administration
Strong written and verbal communication skills coupled with excellent business and technical writing abilities
Experience in CPM scheduling, delay analysis, productive analysis, claims dispute resolution preferred
Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills
Strong attention to detail and good time management skills
Ability to gather, track and assess large volumes of data
Proficient at reading drawings and schematics
